Golden Wish

(Short homework story, by lotus363. lmao)

Unamed Hero remembers, vividly. a golden figure Appiearing in the sky. there city sent ablaze! They where the Only Survivor. they needed. to be a hero.

Later. much later

Unamned Hero Is a person, with quite an Ego. they live In a mountan, with green patches of forest all through it, mixed with Caverns. (the mountain overlooking a castle, that Is protected by the hero)
However. much to Unamed Hero's annoyance, the king decides. one person Is not enough to defend the castle from supervillains, and creates an Army Regiment, specifically to defend said castle "1st Guards of Castle Hero's".

In which, these "Guards". so petty! think they can take the Hero's job? they've never fought a dragon. who do they think they are!?

Unamned Hero walked Into the Castle village, In which In a dark allyway. they found people smuggling alcohol, What! That's so bad. they lept up, and beat the first smuggler down, they ran. and raan from. and raaan, through the streets. Kilomiters even! to get away from Unamed Hero, only to be caught. and tied up.

They begged Unamed Hero to let them go, that they "weren't doing any harm by drinking alcohol". Unamed Hero didn't belive them, until one of them bribed them with a book. the "Golden Dragonfly". a book that led to a Dragonfly. that can grant Any Wish.
Unamed Hero took It, and just left them there.

Unamed Hero walked back to the allyway. but they where caught by the Guards. and taken Into the Dungeon, for assult. there only belonging was now the book, there weapons where taken from them. and there armour was replaced with a Straw Dress

The people Unamed Hero caught! where put under Protection! How petty of those guards (?)

Unamed Hero didn't eat, barely slept. locked In there for days... then they saw a glowing yellow light from the window. an... angel? Talked to them

"Has reality lead you here. once. agaiin? my friend..."

Unamed Hero pressed there hand against the Gate, the figure suddenly dissapiared with a flash, the bricks falling out of the wall from behind them.

Unamed hero ran out. and ran, and ran, and raan. through the street's. until they reached the gates... They where chased out by the 1st Guards. ran. and ran. and ran through the countryside, reaching back to the mountain they lived. the Guards gave up after a while of chasing them.
But not, Unamed Hero

What where they thinking, they're not the hero! Oh not one bit. (?)

The mountain started to give way, Into a golden forest (with mosquitoes though). until... they found a pond! With a guyser in the middle... They opened there book! And?

That was It! the Golden Dragonfly. a wish. one wish, with all there might. they wished, but before they could. the Angel from before appiered before them, standing on the Guyser.

"It is tempting... Is it not? Choose your own path."

Though he could hear the Golden Dragonfly's voice speaking to them

"Come on, just wish them away. It'll come true, It always does"

"Look at yourself, Is this a choice of the people? Or the pettyness of you"

"Think of the dependance, the Fame you'll get! from being there! . . . Only. Hope."

Unamed hero FINALLY spoke a few words!

"I wish. the First Guards of Castle Hero's... I wish they where gone."

The Angel was driven away by the Dragonfly. In which... the wish came true

The Golden Dragonfly, circled around Unamed Hero... then flew away.

for Unamed Hero was too foolish to realize! they released a dragon. . .
Castle Village, was sent ablaze. just like there origional city, wait... There was, flying above the blazing city. no guards to defend It, the Dragon from Unamed Hero's childhood.

(was he really a "Hero" in the first place?)
